Library Online

Law Society Library Online is the result of a collaborative venture between the Law Society and LexisNexis. It brings you fast, easy access to the library catalogue and value added legal information sources, plus selected free LexisNexis content. Law Society Library Online supersedes Catalyst, the old online library catalogue and indexes.

The Law Society library

Solicitors have free access to one of the best law libraries in England. Phone, fax, or e-mail your legal information enquiries. A team of experienced law librarians will look for the information you need, and can send you copies of law reports and other legal material via our fee based Lawdocs document supply service.

Opening hours

• Monday to Thursday: 09:00–18:00
• Friday: 09:00–17:00
• Weekends and bank holidays – closed

Christmas and New Year opening hours:

• 22, 23 and 24 December - 09:00-17:00
• Thursday 25 December - CLOSED
• Friday 26 December - CLOSED
• 29, 30 and 31 December - 09:00-17:00
• Thursday 1 January - CLOSED
• Friday 2 January - CLOSED

From Monday 5 January 2009 we revert to our usual opening hours.
